The BROKER PRE-LICENSING COURSE is the first step toward starting your real estate career.  

 

This is an 80 Hour course that is required to obtain your North Carolina Real Estate Broker License. 


Real Estate Broker Pre-Licensing Course includes the printed text book, the online textbook and online study material to assist you in passing the License Exam!

State Section Tutoring

State Section License exam tutoring.  This is one-one tutoring for individuals that have passed the PreLicense Course but need help with the State Section of the License Exam.  This includes 1 hour of tutoring at the Real Estate School.  Please call the school at 910-676-8628 to schedule times.

Post 301 -- Broker Responsibilities

This course is one of the three 30-instructional hour courses in the North Carolina mandatory Postlicensing (PL) education program. The primary objective of the courses is to provide instruction at a level beyond that provided in prelicensing courses on topics deemed to be of special importance in the active practice of real estate brokerage.

Topics addressed in this course include:  

Broker Responsibilities, Review transactions, legal obligations, compensation issues, license status and more.

POST 302  CONTRACTS AND CLOSING

The Post 302 – Contracts & Closing course is one of the three 30instructional hour courses in the North Carolina mandatory Postlicensing (PL) education program. The primary objective of the courses is to provide instruction at a level beyond that provided in Prelicensing courses on topics deemed to be of special importance in the active practice of real estate brokerage. Topics addressed in this course include: 

  • selected basic contract law concepts,
  • real estate sales contract preparation, 
  • sales contract procedures,
  • buyer’s due diligence,
  • closing procedures,
  • Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act,
  • closing disclosure preparation, 
  • contracts for deed, options, and
  • selected real estate license status and education issues.

This is a BICUP – Broker in Charge Update Course 4 Hour Course (4 CE Credits) Online ZOOM Class

This class fulfills the annual continuing education credit for BICs as mandated by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission. The Commission changes the subject matter of this course each year. All Real Estate CE classes require the student to bring a photo ID and pocket card. Book is included in the cost of the class.

To maintain an Active license, a licensee must take eight (8) hours of continuing education each year. Provisional Brokers and non-BIC Brokers must take the General Update course and one Commission-approved elective. BICs and BIC-Eligible Brokers should* take the BICUP (Broker-in-Charge Update) course and one Commission-approved elective. See Rule 58A.1702.
*A BIC or BIC-eligible Broker who takes the General Update course and an elective will maintain an Active license but will lose his/her BIC status/eligibility.

Conceal Carry Course

You do NOT get CE credit for this class.

Your total CCH training experience will consis of CCH Strategy, Personal Development, 8 Hours Class including: ​Situational Training​, Range Practice Time​, Firearms Training, ​Selecting Your Best Gun, ​Coaching, ​Q&A , Ammunition Advice and Individual Attention. 

Classroom instruction is 8 hours, an hour for lunch and 30 minutes to qualify, which meets the minimum state standards.

Much of the class will be on the legalities and what happens when you are involved in a confrontation and the before and after of it.

Other parts of the program include the following:

  • Responsibilities of owning a handgun.

  • Locations where firearms may or may not be carried.

  • Marksmanship fundamentals

  • Handgun nomenclature

  • Cleaning procedures

  • How to draw the handgun from various holster positions.  

  • The class will involve shooting at distances of 3, 5, and 7-yards

  • A minimum of 10 rounds must be fired at all three distances.

  • A written legal exam will be administered after classroom instruction ends. Passing score is 80%.
